Incoming - What do you have coming in the mail??

Oh! It wasn't a first purchase. Just to be clear, I had made numerous purchases. And, still have all of my Convoy lights. This was right around the tail-end of 2023 when I first learned of Convoy. Initially, I was extremely happy. Can't criticize the lights. For what you get, they're fantastic. (Even purchased an L8 after I began to suspect my M2 was lost in the mail. That one arrived, no issues.) Not the first time I dealt with Simon.

Honestly, it's just bizarre to me how he reacted. Completely out of character. Yes, he was polite about it. Yes, he has a fantastic reputation for customer service. But it was clear he intended to do nothing for me. At that point, I had become a regular customer. But it seems Simon needed my money more than I needed the M2. So, I let him know I was very disappointed and done doing business with him.

No lights in sight yet, at least not until the full winter hits.

Fully functional WW2 British Army Smatchet replica.
(I'll check back in, in September for lights on the way.)

Just arrived!

Malkoff M31LLL from Illumn came up to just under $75 so I added some cheap battery cases to get the free shipping...am I the only one that does that?

Got it to put in a VME head on the MDC 2xAA body running Eneloop Pro. Should get some decent run time.

I know it can run on a single CR123, and I have a MDC CR123 I can swap heads with if I want a smaller form factor single output.

Carry On!

EDIT: Now that it's dark, and I have a chance to check this thing out, I can say that the 50 Lumen M31LLL Nichia 219B V3 4000K light module is FAWESOME! A perfect level with a perfect tint!

That is all!
I love the malkoff MDC

I'm current waiting to receive a shipping notification for an HDS Rotary NB35 with a raised button this time. Coincidentally, I received my first HDS Rotary NB45 with a flush button this past Saturday and needless to say it hasn't left my pocket since. I'm really looking forward to the slightly warmer tint with the sw35 along with the the easier activation with the raised button.

I just ordered and received 3 OLight i3t Eos AAA. (The new model with claimed 200 lumens and the etching of a Phoenix). My family are not EDC ers but they are just so pretty that each of them was delighted and will probably carry them.

Lots of stuff! Sticking to lights:

Weltool T2 Tac in Black.

WelTool LH5 head in Black.
(For an 18350 FDE Weltool body and tailcap I bought many months back.)

New Weltool 18650, and 18350 batteries for both of the above.

Realistically, might be it for the rest of the year. With plans to slow down flashlight buying severely in 2025. Let's see how that pans out.

Now I have an NB27 with a SS bezel I'm waiting on. I finally understand why the HDS Rotary is touted as one of the best EDC torches out there.

Well that lasted 3 days....
Waiting on a Pelican 2220 VB3.
And of two Weltool penlights.
(UV model, and a Doctor's model.)

Nothing flashlight related, but just got one of the last Honda gas lawnmowers built for the US market, delivered from Home Depot. Top of the line residential model HRX217HYA.

Keep a close eye on it. I've heard those Honda mowers are not remotely as reliable as Honda motorcycles or Honda cars.

My 15 y.o. HRX has been trouble free and still starts on the first or second pull. Honda mowers are widely considered the most reliable on the market. Has a five-year warranty as well.

Not trying to be the bearer of bad news. Here's one example of what I meant....
