Incoming - What do you have coming in the mail??

A used good condition surefire 6p.
Evilbay strikes again. :sold:
Cheapest one I've bought at £53. Some people are asking £100+ for a 6p but they're not selling fast at those prices. They had better be ready for a long wait!

Another handful of items. Including.... Browning Microblast AAA (baseball/trucker cap) LED flashlight.

Okay, sometimes you get very lucky with the timing; I just did!
Not a flashlight. But under the circumstances, had to mention what I just snagged a couple of minutes ago....

An actual WWII U.S. Army Signal Corp Engineer Lineman knife.

I was originally looking for the more common U.S. Army Engineer's pocket-knife that was issued to the Navy, and the Marines too. Massive amount to troops in general. Not just engineers. In much higher numbers than the knife I snagged. But those tend to be in terrible shape (completely understandable). They were made to a price-point, and back then no one expect it to become a collector's item. Apparently they are much harder to find nowadays than they used to be, and those in terrible shape are around $200.

I'm just so happy I snagged an actual WWII issued (to limited type of personnel) pocket-knife at a reasonable price, and in very good shape. Only such knife in my massive collection of blades.

Apparently i have a habit i can't control. Son wanted an Olight Marauder Mini but at $199 that was a bridge too far.
Good news! Prime days on Amazon and it's $139.
Sale good for 8th-9th so if you are a prime member there are great deals to be had.
Anyway the moral of the story is as i checked out what my son was getting i went dang thats a nice light. Midnight blue one is on the way lol
I know i could have done a little better buying during the Olight sale but it is what it is.
One sick puppy out…..

It's not unusual to find them on EBay for as little as $100.00. I purchased my Marauder 2 for $149.00 on EBay. I goofed and didn't grab a Marauder Mini at the same time so when I decided to get one the best I found one for was $139.00. Keep in mind EBay does have a money back guarantee. Regardless I still check the buyers reputation but generally speaking I check EBay before buiying most things on the internet and a good amount of time I can find a good deal on EBay.

Could you adopt me? 😁

Back to your regularly scheduled Flashlight content from me....

Acebeam T35 in black 6500K.

Yea i am skeptical on ebay. The few times i have used them i faired well. I'm ok with saving $60.
Or more correctly not spending $60.
Understand, and if you are not comfortable then I wouldn't do it either, however I thought I would mention it. I've yet to be scammed. The worst is when I have won an auction and the seller never sent the item. That's happened a few times to me, but using the EBay guarantee I've always gotten my money back. I might be able to use my credit card protection in that case but it's EBay so I go by their rules that way my user profile on EBay doesn't suffer. The only catch is you have to wait until the expected delivery date to report it, then they contact the seller once you can report it, and then there is a time period they give for that to occur before they can make a determination and refund your money. All the while the date they said they would have sent it to you has expired and you just know they probably sold it to someone else instead. Initially I didn't like the fact that there was no phone number listed to call EBay when this occurs but their reporting and resolution system works and I've yet to fail to get my money back I just have to go thru their system and be patient as they resolve it.

However, I've never been scammed and got the wrong thing nor lost any money. Typically I just get something for less than I have been able to find elsewhere when it works which for the most part it does. But I reiterate I also double check the sellers reputation as well. What do they typically sell, and how other buyers say they are doing. But I also don't buy things known to be counterfeited nor items where you can't use a warranty because the manufacturer only recognizes authorized retailers unless it is an authorized reseller selling it which occurs on EBay as well. Generally speaking I check these things out before hitting buy on EBay as well. When I sometimes save as much as $100.00 if not more or even just $40.00 It's been worth it to me.

I have read somewhere else that flashlights typically have a pretty good margin. I've found that to be true on EBay. If not listing for much less sometimes or when you have the option to offer less I found I could sometimes bring the price down that way as well. Sometimes even the manufacturer or distributor will have a shop on EBay, but you can get it for less there. When there is no listing on EBay or no money to be saved I can always buy it direct from the distributor or manufacturer if I can't find it for less somewhere else. Besides som etimes EBay will either have the actual item you can't find elsewhere or the color you simply can't locate elsewhere sometimes.

(My curiosity got the better of me, despite the light's inherent issues.)

Wuben X2 although I think I would kind of like to get the Wuben X2 Pro whenever that becomes possible.

Handful of more items.
But flashlight related:

Olight i3E EOS single-AAA LED model in tan. (Already have a Black one.)
Olight i3T Plus LED model in black. (Very same light but takes 2AAAs.)

I have (6) more KDLITKER E6-21700's on the way

I also have (2) Malkoff M361's (cool) inbound, for the E6's

I've found the reverse clicky works much better (for me), with the M361's

I am also very pleased with the E6-21700's for my M61 LLL's and M61 LLLL's

Surefire E2E in mint condition for £53!!
There has to be a catch at that price……
The lamp is blown. This doesn't bother me as it's probably going to get a Malkoff head+16650 cell upgrade. Surprised and delighted at how much it put off the other bidders :).
The fools! (Great score by the way.)

Got it!

Tested it! That's with my backyard flood light on.
Pretty cool!

A red Maglite 5D. This will probably be my only 5D. It's to fill a gap in my collection. The odd number of cells put me off for years. Maybe in the military/police etc you can just go to wherever you get your gear from and ask for 5xD cells?

On the Maglite website the red 5D has an NSN number but the black one doesn't seem to have one. Seems strange to me . I suppose they use LED lights now anyway.

My E2E turned up. Swapped the blown MN03 for another one and it works just fine now :)
