Incoming - What do you have coming in the mail??

Another Fc11c. Gave the first to my nephew and now second is going to go to his brother. They absolutely loved the light- learnt the UI like champs. He noticed the difference in tint right away vs his usual lights. I may have made another flashaholic or two.

Well, did pretty well keeping a tight rein on the old wallet but....
Nitecore EDC23.
Love my EDC27. But it is a tad long in length.
EDC23 should be perfect with Summer Shorts.
(First light purchase of 2025 earlier tonight.)

Arrived today: Surefire G2ZX "Nichia" version, 320 lumens. It's awesome.

Slowly adding to my combat light Surefire collection. Love the cigar grip lights.

Never heard of this brand before, but I'm sure I won't be let down.

Arrived within the last week, two Fenix SILVGLOW hi-cri stainless steel AAA lights. I love AAA keychain lights and these add to the collection.

One will be a user and the other will be saved for the collection to add with the Fenix E05 Stainless Steel and the Fenix E99Ti special edition keychain lights. Never did score the original SS LD01.

I just got my new Ti Frag Reylight Mini Pineapple today. The 10440 is cooking in the charger. I heard a watched pot never boils, but what about a watched battery charger?

Much like the pot, it depends on the charger. Do you trust the charger?

I trust mine (Fenix ARE-C2 and Nitecore UMS4), and they don't cook. My DeWalt DCB112 and 115 drill battery chargers however...

Sorry...I was making a bad joke. I just meant I was waiting for the new battery to finish charging. My charger works beautifully.

All good, my guy. 🙂
I knew you were joking, but I think we've all heard about batteries being left in a charger overnight and caught fire. Where either the batteries or the charger or both where of a sub-par quality.

I asked about your charger for personal interest, and tried to phrase my post as a "PSA (Public Service Announcement) - don't leave your batteries in a cheap charger, and that doesn't stop charging when the batteries are full". Just as a general caution, in case others should reconsider their habits.

I only charge my batteries when I am present, with the charger beside me to keep an eye on it. But if I do forget about it, and they are left in the charger overnight - which has happened more than once - I am certain it will be fine.

Laughs, great minds think alike;
Same, I have the old driver version, which I prefer as I see the new driver draws more. I prefer more runtime. I have two of these drop ins actually, the other is in my MD2 Crenny head with a MD1 body and a tricap, going to get a 21700 body for it though, more runtime!
I actually have two Hank lights in the mail, my first ever Hank lights KR4 in black 219B boost driver 4500K and a KR4 TiCu 519 4500K boost driver extra floody optic and shorty tubes for both!
