Hi guys,
Well I did get more Mule heads in at the beginning of the week and even though there has been a good south swell running, I put enough time into building these heads out that I can now offer some lights. I had the paks already assembled so that saved on time. At this posting, I have 25 mules ready to ship but they are a mixed lot. There are 5 ea. Mule-Cx2 lights that have DBx2-500 drivers. These are something new for most of you. The high level is comperable to the Mule PD in output but the low level drives the LED at about 45 mA typically instead of the 25 mA of the PD. So the Mule-Cx2 is brighter on low than the Mule PD.
There are 10 ea. Mule PD's with red H3 vials and 10ea. Mule PD's with blue H3 vials. There are no Mule PD's with the "standard" green H3 vials being offered here.
OK, a pic:
As to how to get one of these, please refer to the general ways and means of ordering posted in This Thread.
Now in particular to this wave, I need to know what it is you want so if it's a Mule Cx2 then please so state. If it's a Mule PD and you have a particular preference or priority on H3 vial color please list your first (or only choice) as well as second choice if you are willing to get either.
These lights will be allocated on a first come first serve basis and this will be determined by an e-mail order you have sent me that is clear, concise and unqualified.
The prices on these lights:
Mule PD - $405 plus shipping (and insurance if requested) Blue or Red H3
Mule Cx2 - $450 plus shipping (and nsurance if requested)
Although a PITA, on the Mule PD's you can request a Mizer configuration for an additional $15 modification charge.
Unless otherwise requested, the default method of shipping is priority mail (domestic or international as the case may be) For insurance, I use the insurance offered by Endecia as I don't have to stand in line at the post office to obtain this insurance.
In your e-mail order, please include all of your contact information and your CPF handle if you have one.
I will be away from the computer for a good part today as there is still a south swell running and I need to hit the grocery store before the pyro's get out and take over the streets! I will be responding to the e-mail orders to let you know your order has been received with a quick note like "got you covered". I will later pack these up and when the postage (or Fed EX) label has been generated and your package completed, I will send you a notification and in the subject line I will include the total now due.
Disclaimers: Like all of the Ti lights and with the mule living up to its name sake, these lights will perform better and smoother after being broken in. The pistons used in the Mule PD's are of the same batch where the vial slot required a reworking. The setting of these vials is not on a stellar level and consider this just one other area where each light shows some character of its own! I don't pretend or attempt to build shelf queens and if some of these are slated for such a status, you should plan on adding your own elbow grease and beautification skills to the program.
Once again, thanks guys!! I don't know what I forgot to mention or explain in this wave posting but hopefully nothing critical.
