Well, I came home for lunch today hoping that a few packages would be waiting for me... As you can see, I have a few new pieces of Titanium to add to the collection! I can't wait until it gets dark so that I can see what this Mule is all about. Unfortunately, the fun will be short lived as I have a sneaking suspicion that the wifey will end up being its new owner...:awman:

Oh, as a side note, at least the good ol' USPS has been consistent in crushing packages from Hawaii...:thumbsdow:mad:

Note to self: Tape ends of boxes too.....

I suppose if I filled the boxes with popcorn that they would be less prone to crushing but realistically, I doubt the lights will get damaged! :D I would like to think the lights could win in a contest against the postal sorting equipment or heavy contact and rumbles with other packages! :tinfoil:

I have an aversion to using any more land fill fodder in shipping than absolutely necessary.

Glad you got the light!

Don,
I don't think that its a matter of the light getting damaged as much as the light getting stolen. I didn't need to pull the tab to open the box, I just opened the side of the box that is pictured and yanked it out... I'm just glad that my light was still in the box, damn USPS!:thumbsdow

Back on topic, this is a great little light!

Tx, I am glad your light arrived safely and who cares about the dang box. Texas postal service is NOT the greatest as we both have found out. The Mule is a cool light and I hope you enjoy it. :)

Ken,
I thought that I read somewhere that you were replacing one or both o-rings in the Mule head with glow rings. Did you end up doing that? If so, what size o-rings did you use?

:awman:Mine is coming all the way to the UK, once it lands there it will probably get to my house quicker walking...............or getting on a Mule train.

Oh.....ouch.... that was bad wasn't it.

Sorry

I will leave now.:)

:aaa:

My Mule Cx2 arrived here in California.
This is a VERY nice form factor for a Mule.

I have to say that I'm kinda kicking my self for not buying one of the Cx2 Mules... However, my PD Mule will probably end up going to the wifey and I don't think she'd like a 2 cell bodied light.

Let's see some pics of that badboy!:poke:

The Cx2 is well suited to pocket carry. I think I like it better than the MULE PD

Got a mule PD today also. I think the 1-cell clicky pack offers the best combo in my hands. For me, the PD body is very hard to use for longer than a few seconds. Light is so small for me to get a good grip to activate the light. The 1-cell clicky body is just right for the mule head.

Got mine also today. It so small in my hands and the wifey said its 'Cute'! But when I switch it on, low she remarked 'Huh'! and then I do to High she screamed 'Wow'!. My wife (and I) couldn't believe the output this little guy produces. Even bright flood from one corner to the other......its just beautiful in form and function....
