Im looking for an LED light with the following qualities:
- Flood Beam (Wall of light - 20ft throw max would be fine)
- White Luxeon (1w or 5w)
- Runtime atleast 3 or 4 hrs of bright light on a set of (Any) batteries
- About the size of a 2D cell mag or smaller.

Basically i want an LED light that i can enter a dark room and be able to light the entire area of not excessively bright white light without having to pan too much. Are there any LED Lights like this on the market? Any custom makers?

InReTECH makes a white Luxeon adapter that almost fills your needs, but it's the size of a 3-D Maglite. I'm not sure where you're going to find this kind of light in a 2-D Maglite sized package, unless you get some plastic toliet pipe cut to fit the 2-D barrel and use 3-C cells inside the 2-D flashlight body.

I have a review of the InReTECH "Super-6" right here if you're interested. I have not tried the toliet pipe thing with the batteries, so I'm not able to tell you how long three C cells will last.

i agree with the above.

however, you might not want to overlook the streamlight 3c10led or 4aa7led.

though not luxeons, these things really light up a room, and should run for a very long time.

they are also inexpensive, waterproof, approved for hazardous locations, and backed by streamlight's warranty.

Ohhhhh baby....Mr. Bulk put a 5 watt Cyan in a Brinkmann LX for me, under driving it with 6 volts. It is indeed a "WALL OF LIGHT", absolutely illuminates the room when I walk in!

He's putting together another LX for me now with another 5 watt Cyan, running 9 volts with the "Poor Man's 9P" LX extension tube that MattO made...It's still a "WALL OF LIGHT", but a LOT brighter.

When I receive my 9 volt mod (should be soon), I'll take beamshots of both (if I can back up enough, may have to go to the back yard!).
