So I had a request to modify an Inova T1 and here are the results.

Thanks! Yes, it does. The camera makes it look worse but it is still bad on person.

Now it puts out triple the light, has 23 different modes to select from, and runs on one rechargeable cell instead of two cr123s.

Is that the one with multiple 5mm LEDs?

This particular T1 with the reflector I had not worked on until now. What makes them a PITA is the press fit. I can see a Harbor Freight press in my future.

Besides the X5 (with the 5x5mm LED cluster) I think some of the other X series lights have single emitters behind optics. They're probably press fit in as well so not necessarily easier to work on, but they come in a few different size/battery combos and I think they'd make interesting mod hosts.\

Edit to add: The older ones are usually pretty cheap to come by.
