Inova X-5

Have any of you heard anything about the Inova x-5? I just purchased one and I am pretty ambivalent wether or not I should return it. I like the 20+ battery life stated in the manual, but it just isn't the same as a Surefire etc. Heck, the x-5 is just 5 LEDs put together. I was hooked with the marketing strategy to state in the manual that the x-5 is a police tactical light, scuba light and a search and rescue light all in one. What are your opinions? This is my first post by the way and I really enjoy this forum.

I also own a SF e1, 6P and photon II, not to mention the Mag lights I grew up with... These are the only lights I could compare the x-5 with.

Don't expect a tac-light equivalent from any LED light.I own 3 Inova X-5's and they are terrific lights. The only relatively small LED light that matches its brightness is the Ledda, which, after only about a half hour becomes noticeably dimmer. After nearly 5 hours of steady burning the X5 was still at least as bright as the Lightwave 2000 or the Princeton tec Attitude with fresh batteries.
I'm working on a comparison between these and other lights which I'll post in the future.
