I am well aware that the Inova X5 will help to deplete your used 123 cells. For example, typically, when my cells fall below around 2.75v they are not doing much at all in one of my incan. lights (surefires / pelicans / streamlgihts)

But, I am aksing how far down will the X5 consume these cells? Will it take them down to 2.0v or less? Surely it won't take them all the way down to < 1.0 volt, right? Or, in other words, what is the cut off voltage level for cells to not even light up the X5?

Good question. I mostly use my X5Ts to drain 123s after they won't even turn on in my G2. Never really measured them when they were no longer good for the X5Ts. But I do still keep them.

Someone mentioned that the Luxeon Splashlight will get some more time out of 123s even after they aren't working in the X5Ts.

I can't recall off the top of my head, I would say roughly at abou 2.4 to 2.5 maybe. I'll go check this out for you when I get home later... I do konw that the Splashlite can take a batt thats at about 2.2 and still put out a decent amount of light...

Which version, the one with the Luxeon or the 222 bulb?
