Inova X5 Vs Trek-7

What flashlight is brighter the trek 7 or Inova 5X ?

The X5 is brighter.

Agreed although the Trek's beam is slightly wider. I find my X5 infinitely more useful although don't have a need to use either light under water.

I got my Inova X5 two weeks ago, and I've had the Trek 7 for more than a year. The Inova X5 appears brighter because the beam is tighter. The Trek 7's wider beam, puts out more light overall. Try using both as "candles," flooding the room with the lights reflecting off a ceiling - the Trek 7 puts out more light, and it has a warmer, natural colored light.

Despite that, the Inova replaces my Trek 7 as my personal flashlight, because of it's convenient size. The Trek 7 will become my household emergency light for it's wider beam and longer battery life.
