I took my Inretech 2AA (white), and LSH-P outside last night to compare them. Up to about 40 feet, the Inretech light things up just as well as my LSH-P, and for close up (less than 10 feet), the Inretech was brighter. The LSH-P was able to out throw the Inretech slightly, though. I am very impressed with the Inretech for brightness. And the color doesn't annoy me in actual usage (bluish hotspot and slightly yellow corona). For the money, it is very hard to beat the Inretech on lithiums!

I've had a couple of Inretech white AA adapters for awhile now. They offer pretty good bang for the buck. I don't have an ARC to compare them to, but they stack up well against my KL1. Alkalines work OK, but rechargeables leave alot to be desired in the Inretech. I found lithium AA batteries at the local WalMart-8 for about $16. The bump in performance with lithium AA's is worth the extra cost IMO.

I have had similar results with my inretech 2AA+lithiums and my Arc LSH. But the arc is definitely white, whereas the inretech is a bit on the greenish side (but not annoyingly so).

Have you tried those Kodak AA 1.7 V. Oxy/Alkalines availailable at Osco/Savon Drug at $3.99 for a 4-pak ?

My dad found lithium AA's for $4.37 per 2 pack at a local store. Not as good as the deal at battery station, but the lithiums last so long that I don't mind buying them locally for a bit more $$ once in awhile (I have had my Inretech for about 6 months and it is still on the same set of lithiums!).
