Turn on your Arc LS with the 2AA body, then unscrew just enough for it to turn off, then holding it in your hand with pinky wrapped around the bezel, other fingers around body, and thumb on the end of the 2AA body. Press with your thumb, and it lights up!
Leaving the LS in the same "just turned off" position, hold the LS as you would normally, your four fingers wrapped around the 2AA body. Press your thumb against the side of the bezel, and it lights up!
These methods only turn the light on when there is pressure on the thumb.
