I got a Intellicharger i2 today and a Fenix 18650 battery. The voltage when I measured the battery after about 20 minutes on the charger was 3.79v. The indicator lights show one solid one on the bottom and the center one is flashing.

What will the light sequence do as the battery charges? Does the top one stay on, do the lights go green?

The battery is 2600mAh. Any idea how long it will take to hit 4.2v?

When the battery is done charging, all three lights will remain solid.

Edit - I somewhat misread your post. You can view a solid light as representing a charge state of 33%. Once the battery is 33% charged from empty, you will have one solid light, with the middle light blinking. Once you reach a 66% charge state, you will have two solid lights, and the top light will blink. Hope this helps. I believe it will take a bit over five hours to fully charge your battery.

Good info. I checked the voltage again about a half hour ago and it was a hair under 4 volts, and that was about 2 hours charge time. So that sounds about right according to your 5 hour bar.

Although, I still only have the bottom light solid with the middle one flashing. Checking the voltage again and it shows 4.03v right now.

How accurate does the voltage reading have to be?

I have 2 multi-meters that I have measured the voltage with and one is .02v higher than the other. Will .02v make much of a difference? Then the question is the overall calibration of both meters - how close they really are I don't know, I don't have a good standard to find out.

The battery is at 4.18v (high meter, 4.16v low meter). The middle LED is on and the top one is blinking. When it switched I don't know, I wasn't watching it like a hawk.

Depending on the age of the battery, they terminate charge at 4.2, if the battery is old or has a high internal resistance it may never reach termination and can get hot, some times I've found that the i2 doesn't terminate but if you fiddle with the battery it suddenly terminates(flashing stops)
