Do the mistakes affect the waterproofness of the lights?

No. The trit slot was not machined correctly. It won't affect the waterproofness of the light. It should be as good as the stock light.

Man. I bet I wont be around for this one.

The stock piston won't solve the issue. On the stock lights the body and head are anodized thus creating the isolation. the stock piston is nickle plated and the Ti bodies are bare Ti I believe. That is why the Ti pistons were supposed to be coated instead to accomplish the same thing? I could be wrong here:sssh:

Thats basically it. You would have to coat the inside of the head and body and the piston to have total isolation, and working with Ti, it is just not cost worthy. The light still functions normally using the piston as a push button clicky.
The slot in the piston was incorrectly machined as seen below.

The sales post will have all the info and instructions needed.
The sales post will be long so be sure to read it all first. :)

Hi Russ ,
I'm 100% interested in 1 unit, I hope I can make "the list", if any...
(no preference for specific coating/finish)
I will be looking for the Sales-thread, but PM is welcome also.

Looking forward to these !
Regards.

:party:Wow...these look REALLY nice!!

So I'm a little confused about the changes in how it operates. So it is now a clicky which means no more variable brightness (just single stage)? So it's always in the brightest setting right? If so, I'm still in!

Are those the stock clips or are they Ti as well.
But I think I read in the beginning of this thread that the clips are custom too.
Anyways, I'd like to grab a stonewashed one if that would be possible.

Yes, you still have variable brghtness, double click low, click press high etc.
When you thread the head onto the body it will come on. You have to click it off. you can't twist the head to turn it off.

The clip is custom for the light. The body, head, clip, both bezels are 6AL4V Titanium.

The sales thread will be posted wed. afternoon in b/s/t.

Will you be doing a run of another Ti Piston with the correct tritium slot in the future?

Got my Ti EX10 body, it's very nice. How does one get the stock EX10 apart
to install the EX10 bits in the new body? The bezel is on VERY tight and
nothing else unscrews.
