The first step will be to check with Andy Zhu to see if he'll do it and under what conditions.

My vote would be to put a 519a in one of the 3 mode MDC.

Not that it matters to me as I passed on the group buy, but I don't get the appeal to the bodyguard.
It's not Gene's design, so it's no knock on Malkoff.
I can't think of a real-world situation where I would use that light.
The E2S is the bodyguard on high without a step down.

Maybe a "Malkoff Insider" on FF will post up how they plan on using the bodyguard.

I never understood the point of the body guard either. I get they say you only need a short burst of high to "try" and confuse your opponent but what good is the step down?

I'm not a fan of the step down. There will be no real world use I'd use that. I rely on the light that's attached to my Glock for those purposes. Not to mention once step down occurs there is a slight buzz noise on the bodyguard models from my experience with the V2. A 519a would be much more beneficial in an orange peel reflector like an MDC head or m61 drop in. Not sure why they would choose putting a very nice led into a TIR reflector/bodyguard

Hate to agree with the naysayers, but somebody has to get Zhu to dedome, then organize the group buy for 1 or 2 variations, and that somebody is not named Dotcpf? I'm in, but who's doing all this?

I'd prefer M61/M91 as a 1st choice, but I'd certainly buy a 3 speed MDC head as icing on the cake.

We need a head organizer here that will collect funds and be competent with this GB. I never been part of one before so I don't feel safe being that guy or knows exactly how this works
