Interested in Gladius mod

I would love to modify my Gladius with one of the new emitters. Love the light but it needs a little more punch on the high end to remain my EDC. Any advice on a CPF member who does this type of modification? If Night Ops is planning a significant upgrade, I would hold off and buy a new light (I can give mine to my wife). Thanks for the advice.
