I was bored, tonight, so I fooled around with some multi-meters, and tested most of the 2-cell flashlight lamps...here's a quick breakdown:

P60: 1.1amps @ 4.9volts = 5.39watts

Scorpion: 1.15amps @ 4.98volts = 5.73watts

UK 2L: .43amps @ 5.48volts = 2.36watts

Legend LX: 1.20amps @ 4.90volts = 5.88watts

E2: 1.07amps @ 4.72volts = 5.05watts

ASP: 1.19amps @ 4.99volts = 5.94watts

Pretty interesting numbers. Runs were done with new Ray-O-Vac 123cells. Overall, they make sense, with most 2-cell lights claiming 1 hour of run time, and the Ray-O-Vacs are rated at 1400MAH, and most other 123-cells are rated at 1200-1300MAH.

dano,
ta very much indeed.

If you get bored again, any chance of the same for the SF P61, P90 and P91 ?

The Ray-o-vacs were from Target...I have a P61, but it's in my locker at work...I also have a P90/P91, but have to mickey mouse a battery holder for three cells...I'm working on it, and a rig to to some readings on some Streamlight bulbs, as well...

Dano,

You seem to accomplish more when you're bored than many people when they're motivated.

How much are those Ray-O-Vac 123's and where did you get them?

Best regards,

The Ray-O-Vacs were 8.99/pair at one target, and today, at another Target, I saw them at 10.99/pair (ouch)...Just as a side note, the Ray-o-Vacs appear to be identical to the Surefire SF-123 cells...
