IQSwitch mod

bought a few 18650 powered lights from dx.u2clone and others. nice lights but not to happy with the switches. so I did an easy mod and disassembled the switch and threasded the guts with a 27-5/8 tap. and installed an IQ switch. first worried it might fry but so far no problems and I likt the function of the switch. it's much nicer then the stock action.

So the IQ switch is working fine? I've had results when using the IQ switch with regulated lights on 3V such as a Sandwich or Arc LS I don't get full power. I then tried the IQ switch on a Li-Ion powered light using a GD sandwich & got weird flickering.

Had an older IQ that wouldn't give full power called Nite Ize and they sent a new one. It seems to be better though it's still got goofy threads. For some reason the threads are not exactly the same as the original Mag tailcap nor Kroll switch.
