Please keep in mind that 18650 is a battery SIZE.
18650's come in a wide variety of chemistries and the battery chemistry is what determines it's capacity and discharge rate. Choosing an 18650 with the wrong chemistry for a high discharge application could be catastrophic and very dangerous.
So don't let someone make a blanket statement like "yeah sure you can use an 18650" and think that that's the end of it. Use the wrong one and you can blow your fingers off.
What you probably want is a LiFePO4 18650.
