Is anyone modding the maglite XL50 yet?

I was wondering if anyone was modding the XL50 light yet? I would like to find a better emitter that will fit in the host and use 3, 10440 imr cells in the battery holder that comes stock. I wonder if the stock switch can handle it or if it regulates voltage....?
