Is my NiMH water bottle battery defective?

my old JetLite NiMH water bottle battery 13V is having difficulty charging. It charge up to warm temperature when I touch the battery. However, after few hours, the battery contents seem to moving around like 7/11 slurpy when I handle it. well, I tried to shake the battery a bit to test if anything is wrong. My battery seems to be defective.

Do you guys think NiMH battery content suppose to have sloshing like a slurpy?

Sounds to me like you are ready for a new battery....
dont waste your time with this old unit just buy a new battery

Did you check to see if water got into the bottle? NIMH cells shouldn't leak enough to make any kind of noise.
