Is the "edit post" feature no longer available under the new formatting?

Sorry if this has been answered... still adjusting to the new UI.
Looking for Admin help on editing an older but active sales thread... are we able to do this yet?

Excellent, it's good that the work is going on, editing the first message in the sales sections would be very necessary, so that relevant information is available in such a way, and not in several messages, which can cause confusion

How can I remove attachments (photo) from messages? I have not found anywhere how to do this.

For example

I am trying to delete these photos (photo 1), but when editing a message they are not there, and those that are marked with a code are the other 7 pieces of photo that are shown in the text of the message (photo 2). If I delete one of these 7 above, it is not deleted but moves to the photos below (photo 3)

You should be able to remove the code and it will work correctly.

That said I deleted the post, and you can add what you need to the thread. Let me know if you need any other changes.

I also have a question regarding the Edit functionality. It seems like I am only able to edit my posts for a while, means a few days or maybe some weeks. After that time I can not edit my posts anymore.
In the past (before the forum was moved to xenforo) there was no limit on edit the own posts.

What is your question exactly?

How long is the timespan I can edit a post?

Is there a plan to switch back to the old behaviour that there is no limitation of editing own old posts? (That is interesting if there are some lists that will be updated i.e. for a particular flashlight serial number registries. It really does not make sense to 'annoy' moderators on updating the lists in i.e. the very first post of a thread. )
