Is the Fenix E1 beam pattern still ringy after SSC mod?

Besides being very blue, the original beam is very ringy. Using the original reflector with an SSC, are the rings still preent, or does it smooth out?

Mine has smoothened out after the mod. It is nice, white and even. A very big improvement. The hot spot is not very tight though, ideal for inside or close distance use.
