Is there a new version of the KL5 Head?

I was at a sports shop today and noticed a KL5 head that looked different then the one I had. I Had a 3rd gen that I thoght was the newest..

If there is a newer version, is it better?

Slightly different or completely different?

There is a new version (cree based) coming 'sometime in 2007' that looks totally different.

There will be a new version of the L5 with an all new, completely different bezel (what is currently being called the KX5 rather than the KL5 bezel)
