Just thought I'd pick you guys' brains and see if anyone knew of a replacement module or rebuild on a Streamlight Scorpion C4 Led. It was my first light and is responsible for my now out-of-controll flashlight madness.:thumbsup: Here's the skinny:
Before I understood the basics, I overdrove and eventually burned the LED out. I replaced it with an SSC P4 and it worked fine untill the same thing happened. I was over doing it by using rechargeables and should have just stuck with the 3.0v lithium. My problem is that the module is sealed and can't really be taken apart. I have pretty much destroyed the driver trying to pry off the old epoxy and dont want to give up on it just yet. I know it's an older light but I like the thing and feel I owe it another shot. Any advice would be greatly appreciated and thank you for your time and knowledge.
