is there some free motion capture software?

ya know like ya have a camera outside for secuity and if it senses motion it will start to record?i need something free i love web cam montor but it cost to much

hiya bart sadly that one dont work for my setup.it dont give me the option to change its capture device from my tuner to composite in

thanks for trying but it wont work either. so far only ones that did work are webcam monitor and active webcam and they cost to much . i thought one of them shareware progies ya posted would work.not sure why they alwasy want to look at tv tuner and not composite
