Issue with my EX10

I tried searching for the same issue as I am having but I wasn't able to find anything. My NiteCore EX10 starte having a weird issue that I cannot figure out. It stopped working with the twisty cap but it works with the PD system for momentary only.
I twist the cap all the way on and nothing happens yet the light still works with the piston drive. Only works for momentary on/off...no ramping up and down or low/high. Ive tried cleaning the contacts and new batteries and tried seperating the brass ring a bit all which are no help. I ordred it back in July and use it for work nightly. Any ideas? And sorry to make this one of my first posts, long time lurker.

Weird, you are the 2nd new poster in the last couple days with a problem SPD light (the other was with a D10).

Welcome to the forums! sorry about the circumstances tho. It sounds to me like your light has some terminal issues and you might have to contact whoever you bought it from for a replacement. I haven't heard of your exact problem yet and you have already tried most of the recommended fixes so if nothing has helped, it sounds like it might have died.

I hope you get it sorted out, it's a great little light when it's working right..........
