JetBeam, Inova or EagleTac 2 x CR123a?

I am looking for a 2 x CR123a, for increased runtime, and higher output tham my 1 x CR123a lights. I also want a warm-tint emitter, a smooth beam, two or three levels, compact size, non-'tactical" styling meaning, no strike bezels, combat rings, etc. It also has to be simple to operate, and durable.

Uses, EDC, nighttime walks, camping/hiking, "bump in the night" light. The "bump" role can be better filled by a couple of simpler, more "tactical" lights that I have (Olight T20T, SureFire E2E, and an incoming SureFire G2) but I'd like this one to work for that role, too, if need be.

I have three particular lights that seem to fit my needs, and I'd like to know what any of you who have experience with them think about these three lights:

1. JetBeam Jet-III PR ST BVC with a Q3-5A
2. EagleTac P100C2 with a Q3-5A
3. Inova 2008 T1 with a K2 TFFC

The Jet has 3 programmable levels, including a 2 lumen low(!), but may be overly complicated, and I don't know how the BVC versions have performed.

The Eagletac has a nice high amd medium but and simple UI, but no real low :( and I've heard of some quality control issues, and I don't know if they affect or have been corrected in the P100 series.

The Inova has a good reputation for quality, and has a good regulated 4.5 hour runtime at 100 lumens OTF, but I don't know just how "warm" the K2 is, and it only has the 1 level. But it's apparetly built like a tank.

What price difference there is between these lights isn't much, and it doesn't matter.

Thoughts?

Your description of the 2008 Inova T1 matches the 2008 T1 I have. Good runtime. Good tail switch. Built like a tank. Lanyard attachment hole at the rear. Made in USA.

There was a photo of the "wall of light" beam posted when the light first appeared. It showed the golden tint. Sorry, I don't have a link to the discussion.

I've owned 3 generations of T1, starting with the 1xCR123 TIROS. I don't have the 2010 T1 which is rated at 110 lumens, although I saw them for sale at the local Fry's Electronics store.

I think you'd be better off with the Jetbeam. You also may want to consider the Jet III - Military. Still a conservative-looking light, but more durable than the ST with stainless steel bezels at the head and tail. Simpler UI also with the user-defined setting and high. I use mine all the time at the minimum setting of .5 lumens. Bump in the night? Simply tighten the head and you're at Max.

I feel you should rule out the other two automatically since they don't have a viable lower mode. I enjoy having lights that can really scorch the darkness, but find I use the lower modes far more often than the max settings.

Jet III M is also broad voltage - primary/rechargeable 123s, 18650.

Very sturdy and can take a beating:

Good luck deciding.

Inova T2 (2008 model) owner here, the "warm" K2 is not a guarantee, you may get a bluish one. Tint lottery. Not sure how is their built quality now (a few scattered reported cases of T1 quality issues for 2009 models), but based on the 2008 models quality, I would take home the T1 over EagleTac and/or JetBeam. Tho... I would still go for T2 if it's available. :D

Both the EagleTac or Jetbeam will be fine choices. The Jetbeam's a little more expensive tho. I've used both and can recommend both confidently. You really get a lot for your money with the EagleTac p-series!

PS - Nice youtube vid of the Jetbeam! :)

I have an Inova 2008 T1 MP and the tint is vanilla white. I think the Q3 5A LEDs in the other lights you mentioned will have a warmer tint. I really like the larger (floodier) hotspot on the Inova T1 though.
