I was wondering about the jetbeam Pro from ebay. They are sold for about $75.00 and are from Hong Kong. Just being a little bit paranoid but would I get my light if I forked over the cash or would I never hear from them again? Thanks for the input.

Who knows - what's their feedback like?

Why not just get it from BOG instead? They definitely stand behind their sales - I've had nothing but wonderful experiences with them.

A few months ago I bought a flashlight from hkequipment on Ebay and the transaction went smoothly.
IMO they don't have the light themselves and it takes them about 7/10 days to get it and then it is shipped to you. Don't expect any communication, they don't tell you anything and they don't answer emails but this behavior is not unheard of in that area.

Also considering that to reach Italy a small package takes about 35 days and $15 from the US and 10 days and $ 3 from HK I consider hkequipment an acceptable source.

I bought that very same model from the same eBayer last month. I was a bit hesitant to buy from halfway around the world too, but my Jetbeam appeared in 15 days (to the UK), and appears to be the real deal- a very smart little torch that is getting regular use. The cardboard box that it was shipped in arrived in a rather squished state, but who cares? all of the extra bits were there. I was a bit worried that he seems to get dozens of negatives every month, but looking further, still has an overall very good feedback. I may well buy from him again, but even 2 weeks feels interminable when you are waiting for a new fix of flashlight goodness!

well I think Ill look into BOG but I just liked the extra $6 in my pocket but as you all know you get what you pay for...I think Ill try BOG

I bought the Jet-I pro from hkequipment. It took about 3 weeks to arrive (I'm in New Jersey), but that included about 10 days of Lunar New Year holiday, so who knows. I did email them to ask what was going on (I hadn't known about Lunar New Year previously) and got no response. The light arrived in perfect condition and works great. Really this would be the perfect EDC light if it had an OP reflector and the medium runtime issue was solved (low isn't very good either).

I also bought from hkequipment. I bought a red-dot sight, took a while to get here(New Jersey). Sight wouldn't zero properly, I'm going to send it back to a new one-probably will take a while.

i refocused the JB MK3 and my Jet 1 pro and the results are nice - less rings and wider hotspot to boot

I've bought several flashlights from Hong Kong sellers, and have been generally pleased. However, their shipping and handling charges are sometimes unreasonably high. If their prices seen especially low, the shipping charges can be unusually high.
