thanks for the kind words

Ive found a source for Original RRT-01, if anyone is interested, send me a private message.

I have been carrying the triple N219b 3500k 9080 and really enjoy it. The single N219b 4500k 9080 got bumped, to a second pocket.. LOL

Got the new Jetbeam RRT-01 with XHP 50.2 5500k and diffused lens from Skylumens. It takes a hit on color and temp, yes, but is extremely useful and a nice wall of light. About 800 lumens.

Seems more the yellow from the led via the diffused lense. Definitely not going to keep anything green. Have enough hicri and rose tints that I use to compare.

Got the new Jetbeam RRT-01

Congratulations!
super practical UI imho
enjoy!

trivia tip
your light can be locked out physically
which creates a memory mode option
set the dial to a level you find useful, use lockout to turn off,
when you unlock the light, it turns on at the last used dial position

other trivia
Im carrying an Eye10 with triple 219b, the ball and spring removed from the rotary dial, so it is smooth, no detents.
I lock it out when I put it in my pocket.

pending upgrade to the Eye10
reinstall ball and spring, fill in the detents with jb weld, leaving the off position unfilled.

Useful Low Battery Warning Behaviors of RRT-01

The RRT-01 gets visibly dimmer as the battery approaches overdischarge of a LiIon (2.5v), begins to flash when voltage drops below 2.5v

as a test,
I installed a depleted cr123@2.58v, the RRT-01 stepped down to 15 lumens (on a fully charged LiIon
2. I left the light running, and a few moments later it began to flash rapidly. I measured the voltage of the battery, right after removing it from the light, at 2.49v

I'm keen on the original RTT-01 but I haven't been posting actively, so I don't think I can PM you Jon_slider.

Sapphire Bling!

testing a 20mm x 1.5mm sapphire crystal, it fits my Eye 10 nicely!

It also fits the V10a, but is a bit too thick compared to stock... so I ordered some 20 x 1mm

some lens dimensions:

Is sapphire stronger?

good news and more good news

I received some 20 mm x 1 mm sapphire lenses, and they fit perfectly in my V10a, and I suspect in other Sunwayman rotaries.

The 20x1.5mm sapphire lenses are for Original RRT-01 (not the 2019 model, that I dont own, and may have a larger lens, not sure.)

The 20x 1mm sapphire lens is an excellent fit, for Sunwayman rotaries (disclaimer, Im guessing they are the same in the V10a, as in the V11r and V10r and V10r Ti.)
note, I respect CPF rules not to share vendor links in public, feel free to PM me for the info. (not affiliated)

You can see in this pic of the V10a head (on a V11r body), with the 20x1mm sapphire installed, that the bezel fits very nice and close with no excessive gap
