This is the first flashlight I've bought in four months.

One of download's 8th run Pocket Rocket. XM-L goodness with a neutral bin (T5-4A). Dunno when he's going to ship, I'm twitching to get hands on it. I have a T6 binned XM-L and it's color is fine, can't wait to see a warmer XM-L in a custom setup. C'mon download!

My Surefire P60 host spending spree leaked has leaked into July. Yesterday, I got in a new (but opened) Z2 with both its original bezel and a KX4 conversion head. I'm expect a C2-BK and 6P-GM to arrive on Monday. All for very, very good prices.

They all feel just ridiculously good in my hand: particularly the Z2. I expect to make some drop-in purchases mid-month.

Surefire 6PL
was being described on the webpage like the old P60L model (80 Lumen), but unfortunately I got a KX4 version in the mail. Blister pack was cut open in the bezel area, but the flashlight itself could not be moved out of the blister. Since that purchase was intended as a pure addition to my collection of MINT boxed SF6P/Z2 lights, I am pondering slightly if I return it or not..... the chances are high that I will keep it nonetheless since there are no b&m stores around that have SF 6Ps in stock.

Fenix LD40.

Kind of an impulse buy, I got it because of the long runtimes on this light.
The neutral white XP-G LED in this light turned out to be real neutral white, where the E21s XP-E neutral white LED is actually warm white.

I like the color rendering a LOT on this LD40, so this light will likely my new favorite 'common tasks' flashlight. 🙂
