my crx nor my corolla are quite that fast.

1150 miles from socal to seattle. my crx does 33mpg and holds 11gal.
so that's 2300 miles round trip, divided by 30mpg so 76.7 gallons.
divide that by 11 gals so roughly 7 full tanks.

at $2.80 per gallon, i'm looking at $215 and 36 hours of driving.
in the past, i've done over 40mpg on my crx on just freeways but that still puts me at $161 and might make my trip longer.

if i leave tomorrow morning, with rests and stuff it would be like a 45hour trip and i would be back sat night to early sunday.
considering i have some business to tend to sunday morning, this isn't looking like a good idea.

darn. i also suppose vinh's a busy man and doesn't need visitors during his weekends... especially one who has been in a hot little honda without ac nor a shower in hours!

Just wandering for you guys that have sent funds. What if another person has sent an email to Vinh claiming a light that was time stamped before your post? He did say he has other customers who are waiting to submit email orders.

I was thinking the samething but then i realized there is no way anyone who is emailing would beat the instant post of cpf. Email by nature has a few second delay sometimes even longer. so by the time he got the first email order there was aready like 15 posts here after fiat lux. Heck it takes my email 5 seconds to even start sending after I hit send. I had my cpf post posted no more then 3 seconds after vinh posted fiat lux and was still like 4th or 5th.

I live in LA. Stupid California with their special ethanol blend gas and world's strictest emissions laws. Our prices bottomed out at 1.99 for a few days in feb before shooting back up to 2.50... And recently up to the 2.80 range.
