It's everything it's cracked up to be. I found that lithium primaries seem to defeat the full range of brightness options but this doesn't bother me as long as
this won't damage it . I'll probably use th brightest setting most anyway.
I also just got the l2d ce and am very impressed. Dont discount the value of the low setting in total darkness, high for close up work is way to bright with this lite. This is why I will not buy anymore single stage lights, multiple settings are really very usefull. Even strobe mode is good for getting someones attention.
With that said the L2DCE will probably still get limited use, simply because the L0DCE at 1/4 the size is allways in my pocket, and is nearly as bright.
