Yep I took the plunge and did a mod last night. I decided to start off with simple one so I made a G3 with a P91 lamp.
I used a dremmel tool to cut the battery spacer to 7/8 inch and had to rewrap the spacer because it got kinda hot using a cutoff wheel and melted the factory insulation a bit. I wrapped it with a couple of turns of electrical tape and dropped it right in. Hit thee Sweech and VROOM(I coulda swore it made noise like a lightsaber when I turned it on but I could be wrong /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif)
I showed it to a leo buddy of mine and he said he was going to write me a ticket if I didnt mod his too.(what are friends for /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif)
