Cool lights. I went to Lighthound just to look around, and of course, in CPF fashion, had to buy a few more lights I don't really need. These things are really bright on regular CR123's, and I do dig having a switch on a 123 Fenix.

I just compared it directly to my P1D-CE, FF3 (my EDC), and Rexlight 2.0 AA (I have more but these seemed better comparisons). The P2D-P100 is the brightest, no doubt. Also a MUCH better beam than the P1D-CE, rounder and smoother. It gets warm, but not as hot as my FF3 on burst (and the P2D-P100 is quite a bit brighter). It is larger in size than the P1D-CE, a tiny bit thicker than my Rexlight AA and about 3/4" shorter. Also about 4 grams lighter than the FF3 and 6 grams heavier than the P1D-CE.

I don't think it's gonna bump out my FF3 as my EDC, since I dig setting my own levels and the FF3 is a little smaller still. But I think it bumped all the others as my#2 small light. Did I mention that this thing is bright?

Sounds like your FF3 is getting nervous :)
You should see my FF3's battle scars. It's not nervous yet. However, if I ever sold it, I could never say "barely used". It swam in Cabo San Lucas last week, it's swam in the Atlantic numerous times, pools, it's fallen here and there, etc. It lives mostly in my front pocket with a Benchmade and a big clip and it's been through a ton of airport scanners. Soon, my FF3 will get a new LED, and as long as the beam quality is good, it should stay my EDC. But,the P2D-P100 is 2nd in line. :)
