Just wanted to say for those of you that are on the fence for buying an Eternalight or a PALight it is well worth the $$ to buy them. The Eternalight that I bought was the 4Z EliteMax. it's by no means the brightets torch in my arsenal but for usefulness it ranks up there. the functions for this are simply amazing. A perfect companion for camping or an emergency light (1000 hrs on single bulb or 50 hours on high). the case is hard plastic with a drop rating of 15 feet (no I didn't test it yet). and since they are on sale at theledlight "bargain basement" for $66.00 (compared to 99.00) its a livable price for a good light.

The PALight on the other hand, heck I bought two the rockets, the workman torch ($15.95) and the Survial torch my survial came with a bouch and a signal wand ($17.95), both of them are awsome and very useful the Workman has two modes, always on (dim light that will last for 2.5 years) and Hi (40 hr runtime), I did the standard CPF check by looking directly in the lens (while it was on) to see how bright it was (I'm still seeing light blobs. The survial PAL has four modes constant on(2.5 years), HI(40 hrs), LO (200 hr) and strobe(8 days of constant on). I HIGHLY recommend both of these lights not only for a flashoholic for the people who are looking for a reliable flashlight with incredible runtimes.

if you want a more broad flood, similar to the infinity ultra, you can competely remove the focusing lens form the Palight.
it pops out easily.

i replaced the lenses with a cut-down plastic minimag lens.

Palights are our preferred nightstand lights.

good idea with the minimag lens didn't think of that, I know you can take out the convex lens and flip it for more flood.
