I have owned one of these Lumen 6for many years as a back up light on night dives. It is everything that the add says and is sooo cheap in the U.S.
Scuba store. I paid more than double that.

At the business end is an Osram 7.2V 0.85A w438. This produces a very white even beam (sorry no dig.cam) which at 120 lum. pales the DB6AA at around 54 lum. I haven't blown one yet using alk.batts.

On the downside though it has a plastic casing and fiddly to get at battery compartment.

IMHO great light/price as an allrounder. If anyone else has one, I'd be interested in your opinion.

Cheers

I have one of these too, in my dive bag. A good dive light, but as you said, changing batteries is a bit of a pain.

I'd forgotten I had it, to be honest. It was the first dive light I got, and I didn't really worry too much about light quality and output at the time. I'll have to dig it out and have another look at it..
