I have similar sized 18650 lights from eagtac & Xeno. Don't see why they would go with 16650's
They're producing some parts in grey 3D printed nylon now. For example the Mini Mkiii tailcap kit is available in black delrin or grey nylon for half the price. The material looks almost like a 3D-printed part. Maybe not, but definitely not the same material as before. One thing is, though, they responded very quickly to my email, and I believe they'll be replacing it quickly.
Good information here, and yes, I'll let you know. They've sent out a replacement for me, and I should have it Wednesday of this week. I, too, would rather pay a bit more for the Delrin. I've dropped my Slate Blue many times while using it at work with no problems. I don't think the 3D-printed part will fare as well. They're producing some parts in grey 3D printed nylon now. Please let us know which material your replacement is made of.
I think I'd rather pay a tiny bit more for delrin (less likely to break?).
So, they sent me two replacements. Both of them are the gray material, like the 3D printed examples.I got in touch with Prometheus support because I was interested in getting one for my old quark. Terry said they only have 3D printed tailstand caps available now. I guess the description will be updated soon.
