Hi everybody
Just got my new Photon Freedom here in distant Brazil per air mail and surprisingly, this time without customs taxes /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif. What I want to say is this: I knew from the related threads here in CPF that this light was small, but never thought that it was SO SMALL!! I knew it was bright but no idea it was THAT BRIGHT!! It lights up a large room almost (hard to tell the diference) like an Inova X5 and puts the Arc AAA to shame! Took it to a night walk around the house in complete darkness and, boy, it looks as if you have a much more powerful light in your hand! It is really a technological jewel! And the strobes and signaling are also amazing features for the size! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/happy14.gif! All in one, I'm very pleased with the light! I'm just wondering about the runtimes but maybe somebody will determine them for us.

The runtime should be fairly similar to the Photon III. See the graph at www.ledmuseum.org for high, medium, and low brightness. Basically you will lose some brightness after just a few minutes but it will still be pretty good. After that it's good for a few hours before it gets pretty dim.
