Random thoughts as I picked up a olight warrior mini 1, I use a warrior X3 and they have the rear metal two stage switches. the tiny mini reminds me of the nitecore ex11 and d10 i used to own with in my experience the awesome but unreliable piston drive, anyone remember them ? !

the ex11 was a little beast on rcr too , great edc at the time .

Any way ...............

The D10 is a great light. Here’s mine with a dedomed 519A 4000K.

I remember when those first came out, and they looked cool, but I couldn't afford one at the time.
What was the difference? It was a novel switching mechanism, right?

I think the Piston Drive (PD) was originally a McGizmo 2 mode UI

The 14500 D10 Smart PD (and 16340 EX10) have a stepless ramping UI.. similar to Anduril.. hold the button and the output ramps up.. release and then Hold to ramp down

Hanko made some custom Ti bodies that he loaded w D10 drivers:

Russtang of Titanium Innovations made this Ti body for an EX10:

Selfbuilt has a D10 thread here

This thread has more D10 pics and info

Thanks, Jon!
I read some of those links —whew! Lotta info. Great write-ups. Those lights had a very enthusiastic and dedicated fan base. Still do!
