All,
Was in Sam's today kicking around and came across a pack of two LED lights for $28.xx. They were in a large blister pack. Advertised as K2s. They run on three AAA batteries (in a plastic holder). The package claimed 150 lumens and 4 hours runtime (riiiiggghht). The lights had a recessed tail switch. The bodies were a gray/gunmetal color. The heads were not quite a turbohead, but they were large. Come to think of it, the bodies appeared larger than an inch in diameter. The packaging had an exploded graphical view of the light - right down to a dinky little heat sink. Looks like it would be easy to connect it to the body of the light.
I was able to resist, mostly because I'm skeptical of the advertising claims. Even so, the light appeared to be well put together, especially if the heat sinking could be addressed.
Has anyone tried this light?
