Just saw it at Kai's website. anyone ordered it? unprotected though kind of useless/dangerous in serial config.

I think it would be fine if you're willing to cut away the shrink wrapping, buy a protection circuit for it and shrink-wrap your own pack. I know his 2D pack has a problem where the short-circuit protection is too sensitive, making it unable to drive a lot of hotwires that the cells could handle no problem (they sag much less than AW C cells). Capacity is accurate, as well.

Well, well, welll...a new product, eh? Looks interesting.

I'd like to see some kind of warning on that sales page though, even a small warning would be better than no warning or caution about using these in series.

I wonder if a pair of these would instaflash a ROP HI bulb when fully charged?

Not a new product, just replenishment. Been watching & waiting for KD to get these back in stock. Placed an order for two today while waiting for AW to release the gold-versions.

Another member told me these work fine on his ROP HI.

The ROP bulb doesn't pot until about 8.6v so the batteries shouldn't instaflash the bulbs.

The protection circuit works too fast and they prevent the batteries from starting the bulb. You'll have to remove the circuit to power the bulb.
