Kastar rechargeable batteries

Has anyone tried kastar rechargeable nimh batteries? I bought some recently and a charger. I got 8aa 2700mah and 8aaa at 1000mah. Just wondering if they are quality batteries and what should I expect?

The tests/reviews I've seen report they don't perform as claimed. They are about 'half' the capacity of claimed after several cycles. Some of the tests I've seen were older, about 5 or 6yrs old. But I doubt they've changed much.
However YMMV.

I've never used them, so I don't actually have much more than that to offer.

Once I get some experience I might be able to post some about them. I hope they have improved and are honest about their mah rating. So far though not bad in an incan mini mag.

Yeah, real life use is a much better gauge of how they'll act short/long term.

Yes, so far so good. I just need to retrain myself to use my lights more now without feeling guilty.

The kastar mag charger packs i bought were junk.
Ir around 2 ohms!
Sent back

It's good though that they took them back. I'm using the aa and aaa batteries I got from them and they seem to be holding up although I'm not heavily using them. The coleman 350 lumen and the solitaire led should be able to put them to the test.
