While I tend to stay away from cheap flashlights, reverse clicky, etc., the reviews I read about the KD E6-21700 lead me to order a few to try

I had 4 Malkoff M61 LLL's coming in (and 3 M61N LLLL's sitting around) and thought they might be a good match with the KD (they are!)

The other day I was going thru 1 of my Malkoff boxes and found a M361, which I admit I never cared for, due to the way it switches levels

I decided to try it in one of the KD E6's and found that I really liked the way it worked with the reverse clicky

I'm sure many/most of you already knew this, but the reverse clicky now makes the M361 useful, at least for me

The kdlitker body is great,
The kdlitker 3 Level insert (sometimes switching to 5 levels) is great.
And they are cheap!

Malkoff, on the other hand - boosted by the fanboys for years...
And after years of "withstanding" I bit, at the same time when ordering the Kdlitker, the bullet for the Malkoff 21700 host + an insert... and am pissed, that I did.
they suck, both.
Especially when considering the extremely higher cost to the Kdlitker parts.

(if someone very, very interested, ;) i posted my concerns in sub forum custom & modified :

I'll admit I am a "Malkoff fanboy" and have used them for many years.

I do also have to admit not being happy with the prices of the Malkoff bodies, but as for the light modules, they are the finest I have ever used, of course with the exception of the M361, as stated, until trying it in a reverse clicky.

I will also say that the KD's, for the money, are an exceptional value, and I will be purchasing more.
