Ken Onion Kershaw \"Leek\" clip screws - size???

Being a "Lefty" I am going to drill and tap threads on the opposite scale for the clip screws. I will be using the existing holes for alignment. Anyone know the thread size ?
I'm guessing it's metric and I don't have any of those taps yet.

I thought that most Kershaws except the Vapor were made here in the US? Have you tried running a screw into a screw gauge or threading die at a machine or industrial supply? I think most Graingers have a nice threading set up in the lobby. Most machine shops I worked in had a few different screw gauges. If I had a Leek I'd take it to my buddy's machine shop tommorrow and check it out but I don't, sorry. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Re: Ken Onion Kershaw

The Leek and the other Ken Onion Speeds&fe designs are made in the US, but Kersh&w is a KAI company, same as Spyd&rco, so I believe they are assembled here from parts made in Japan, hence metric fasteners. But I will check our machine shop on base per your suggestion.

Re: Ken Onion Kershaw

FYI UPDATE:

I found the threads for the screws holding the clips on my Kershaw and Spyderco are both 2-56 UNC. Spyderco uses a #0 Phillips round head and Kershaw uses a Torx #6.
