Trustfire 3-way protected 18650:
Went to check the voltage, but picked up the wrong set of test leads, which were connected to the other meter on it's 10A setting.
So basically I shorted the cell. It hasn't worked since - no apparent voltage available.
It claims to have "short circuit protection". Is this protection as in "it won't explode - but it won't work again" or is it "it's safe to short circuit this battery and it should still work after"
Just trying to figure out whether I should claim a faulty cell from DX, or just accept that I screwed up and I'm $5 worse off (hardly the end of the world!)
