Kinfire problem

I made an impulse buy of a Kinfire K36F-T6. Supposedly 4,000 lumens. uses 26650's. As bright as my car headlights!
Worked great for a day or two. But now it only stays on for a few seconds then goes out. This happens in all modes.
I can't find anything online about this light but sales links.
Any clues as to the problem?

It sounds like the batteries are dead. Just for future reference this section is mostly for discussion about LED's themselves and not flashlights, you would get a lot more eyes on your question had it been posted in the LED flashlight section.
