Icebreak,

I believe it's caused by the LED being more in the middle of the housing on the KL3 rather than protruding edges like on the KL2. It is white though.

and is that u in your sig?

Earwax,

I don't usually use photoshop for editing pics. I rely more on the filters on my lense, white balancing, and most importantly, the available lighting. The hardest part is cleaning the lights/subject to be free from dust or lint. The background as well. I'm anti-flash. I've only used the flash on my camera maybe about 10 times out of 6,893 photos. I feel it takes the naturality of the photo the way the eyes and brain pick it up.

Shelby-

You've accomplished something difficult here.
The artistic nature present in your photographs of objects of art does not overpower the essential beauty of the objects themselves.
Fascinating work.

Those really are some nice pics! You should jump into the "contest" of sorts on how to take nice pics of the Arc AAA

Thanks guys. I wish I could post some high res. You will be seeing me around here more often. Sorry I've been lame with the posts. I'm only at lower 30's but registered quite some time ago.

Tree,
You're right. It does resemble a computer rendering. When I first discovered the formula for this stlye, right away I felt the object looks rendered yet realistic. Also looks to be slighty floating. The lighting technique allows that to happen.

earwax,
In my pervious digital camera, I have logged 8,934 photos taken. My current camera is at 6,933. I got it march of 2002. 1,000 photos were taken in my recent trip to France. Lots of trial and error. Shooting, reshooting, etc. I feel I've not perfected any one style yet. I'm still in hot persuit and learning every day. Thanks for the encouragement:)

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">Hi Shelby,
great pics!
I noticed you are using Imagestation. Why don't you just upload your pics in a higher res.? You would still maintain the same size to show directly, but you can also use a link to the original ...
