KL1 3 X AA runtime

Just to satisfy my curiosity, I hooked up a solar cell to our cheap recording meter at work and tested my KL1 using 3 Energizer Max AA alkaline batteries as a power source. I don't have the software to post the graph, but I got a few minutes over 3 hours of steady constant output followed by an hour of decreasing output. The KL1 was putting out about as much light as an ARC LE when I ended the test.
