KL1 head do I need one to go with my TW4

I've already got a TW4 and I love the heck outta it, but I"m looking for a "friend" for the KL4 head to trade off duty on my e1e. I'm Looking for throw and runtime.

I'm looking at getting the KL1 (latest gen) what do you think???


the use will mostly be for short walks, and general use. it will not be my primary EDC but will most likely stay in my Jumbo fatboy or jacket for as needed use.

please give me your recommendation .

you sure you mean the KL2? Afaik is this one for milennium-series lights only and discontinued for some time.

I like the KL1 a lot. There are plenty of situations were I prefer throw over sidespill, and that's exactly what the KL1 is all about. For instance when I want to check on something in the distance in the forest - I don't need sidespill there, in fact, it's more than useless in that kind of situation as it destroys my nightvision and it gives away where exactly I am.

And in case you need sidespill, well, there's always the FX04 beamshaper.
